According to press reports the Legislative Council agreed that Overseers and Land Bailiffs should receive a

temporary house allowance until the Government Quarters

are provided.

The majority of these officers have already received this, but for some reason we the undersigned have been refused. We should humbly beg to be informed with respect

to this.
